Our New Web Site is Live

The Lampousa Cypriot American Association proudly announces the launch of its new website, Lampousa.org, marking a major step forward in modernizing the organization’s communications, community engagement, and digital presence.

This initiative was led by Christos Christoudias, son of the late former president George Christoudias, who took on the project at the start of the year. On January 13th, Christos presented a comprehensive 2026 Communications & Technology Plan to the Board, outlining a roadmap to bring Lampousa’s outreach and community tools into the modern era.

To support this effort, the Association established a new Communications Committee, whose founding members include Christos Christoudias, Anastasia Kamilaris, and Athena Patrikios.

The new Lampousa.org website features:
- Event listings and upcoming activities
- Community announcements
- Photo galleries highlighting Lampousa’s history and cultural events
- Online donations fully integrated with a secure merchant account

In addition, Lampousa has launched a new Instagram account, @lampousausa, giving members and friends a fresh way to stay connected with the community.

Looking ahead, the Association plans to continue its modernization efforts with online event registration, a streamlined membership workflow, and a sophisticated email communication system to replace informal personal-email outreach. ("No more personal mass-emails from our president, Stavros Kamilaris.")

According to Christos, “With this new digital foundation, we are better positioned to engage our members, reach younger generations, and preserve our community’s cultural heritage.”
